Northeastern Pennsylvania in the Northern Pocono Mountains is made up of hundreds of lakes, streams, forests, and ponds.  A good portion is covered by State Game Lands providing open space for outdoor activities.  The region features the Upper Delaware River, the longest undammed river in the Northeast United States and Lake Wallenpaupack, one of the largest man made lakes in the Commonwealth.  We are also home to the Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational National Park.  The region has hundreds of camps. resorts, natural areas, and attractions.  Some of the outdoor activities enjoyed in the area include; kayaking, canoeing, boating, sailing, hiking, biking, swimming, whitewater rafting, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, four wheeling, rock climbing, downhill skiing, snow boarding, golfing, and water skiing.
