Human Resources Foundation

Details

The Human Resources Foundation provides financial support to the programs and services of the Human Resources Center (HRC) which first opened its doors in October 1973. It was important to those who founded HRC to secure continued opportunities for their loved ones and their community. Over the course of the last four decades, HRC has expanded to a staff of over 400 caring and dedicated individuals. They continue to provide individualized support and services to individuals with disabilities throughout Northeast Pennsylvania while promoting meaningful life choices and community inclusion.

In addition to providing financial support to the Human Resources Center, the Human Resources Foundation awards annual public grants to nonprofit and charitable organizations throughout the Northeast PA region who have like-minded initiatives as that of HRC. Find out more about programs, services, and special projects we fund here. HRF also offers annual scholarships to high school students and adult learners seeking a college education in the human services, social work, and special education.

Our vision is for a community that embraces accessibility and choice. A community that champions for inclusive spaces and equal opportunity so that we may encourage and empower all those in our region to live their lives to the fullest potential.
