Military Spending CutsIf your company is located in Northeastern Pennsylvania and is a manufacturer or supplier that does business with the Department of Defense (DOD), we may be able to help if you feel your business has been impacted by reduced by DOD downsizing.  Your comapny may be eligible to receive benefits from the Defense Department Transition Partnership Grant program.

 

 

This initiative is designed to provide support to Department of Defense (DoD) contractors and supply chain vendors to diversify their products and services in the wake of decreased DoD spending and sequestration. The partnership will provide direct support for the development of market diversification plans to create new opportunities and jobs for local businesses who have experienced decreased DoD contracts. Furthermore, the initiative provides support for displaced workers who have been furloughed by Tobyhanna Army Depot and other DoD contractors. The initiative is being funded by $2.9 million grant through the DoD Office of Economic Adjustment (OEA).
