Wayne Pike Workforce Alliance - Career Services Division

Wayne County Employment and Training Center is your local center for all workforce activities and services.  Funded though the Federal Workforce innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Wayne County Employment and Training Center is a partner in the PACareerLink system.  Our mission is to provide employment and training information and services to job seekers and to assist employers with job postings, recruitment, on-the-job, and labor market information.  Many of our services can be accessed electronically through the PA Job Gateway website.  <a href="http://www.jobgateway.pa.us">www.jobgateway.pa.us</a>.  Employers may post job opening at no cost; and job seekers may do job searches, submit resumes, and review state-approved training programs.  WIOA funds for classroom training, on-the-job training, and paid work experience have eligibility requirements.  GED classes are also offered on site through Northhampton Community College.  In addition, weekly job search workshops and job fairs are some the workforce activities available.  The Employment and Training Program has been operating in Wayne County since 1978 under the auspices of the Wayne County Commissioners.
